And as far as this list goes, there are so many good books about teaching that it's hard to narrow it down to ten books that are worthwhile, so I'm definitely impressed. :-) Currently I am trying to write a novel about teaching (in all my -- ha ha *ahem* -- free time), hoping that one day I, too, may make it to a list in BlogLand. :-)

Have a lovely day!

Marie
http://educatorssoliloquy.blogspot.comMarie C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05503770169927177904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-940069258924140517.post-67645286380369427482011-04-17T04:42:15.807-06:002011-04-17T04:42:15.807-06:00I will take a closer look at some - even though I ...I will take a closer look at some - even though I see that teaching over here (in Germany) is probably slightly different from what you do in the US (different school system, different expectations, different social restrictions). Still I find it pretty interesting. Teaching ESL I always found books on language teaching and language acquisition far more helpful than any book on teaching in general. I have some general guides, but they never told me anything I hadn't known before. Let's see what your number 6 and 8 can "teach" me ;-) Thanks for this list!!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00191897143413403747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-940069258924140517.post-13968964177677123072011-04-16T16:35:42.229-06:002011-04-16T16:35:42.229-06:00Thanks for stopping by my "Party in Paris&quo...Thanks for stopping by my "Party in Paris" on friday!
